20 culinary heavens

Hello, fellow foodies! Are you ready to embark on a culinary journey to the heavenly paradise of Italy? With 20 different regions, each with their own unique baking traditions, you'll be spoiled for choice and might need to roll yourself out of there! And guess what? We've got treats for every occasion, from Father's Day to Banana Day (yes, it's a thing on 19th Feb)! So, what are you waiting for? Let us be your excuse to indulge and let's make it even more special with a pinch of Italiano!

YES! Sicily is part of Italy

Hey, hey, hey! I hear some of you out there think Sicily isn't part of Italy. Well, let me tell you, you're as wrong as a giraffe trying to play limbo. It may be an island, but it's still part of our boot-shaped country. And don't worry, we'll keep working on that bridge In the meantime, let's chow down on some of the amazing bakes Sicily has to offer (ever heard of Cassatelle?!)!

Once upon a time we had a King and Queen

The Savoia family may be a thing of the past but their legacy lives on through the Savoiardi biscuits, little delicatessen serving as backbone for the most heavenly Tiramisu you'll ever lay your taste buds on. It just goes to show that some legacies are too delicious to die! Although, let's be honest, I have no idea if there's any correlation between the two. But who cares, as long as we have Tiramisu, life is good! So go ahead, indulge in this sweet treat and forget about everything else!

Culinary feud between regions

Oh boy, let me tell you about Carnevale, the ultimate food fest in Italy! It's so good, it'll make you forget your diet. And have you heard of Frappe? It's a fancy pastry that looks like a ribbon and tastes like heaven. But here's the catch depending on where you are, it goes by different names like chiacchere crostoli, bugie, cenci, galani, and the list goes on. It's like everyone wants to have their own name for it, and can you blame them? It's just too good to settle for one name!
